Apr 6, 2010: Guardian, UK – A wonderful article about a new economist group, Institute for New Economic Thinking, founded by George Soros (you know him, the guy with the big bag of cash gained by betting against lemmings). Apparently economists are going through a navel gazing period wondering why when they are most needed they get it wrong. A movement is picking up to base projections on more empirical data than on uber-models, …. really
